How to add, update, delete performance metric definitions

DEFINING PERFORMANCE METRICS

The Coaching platform tracks two types of performance metrics:

  • Results metrics are the top outcomes that can be measured that make your company successful. (Example: Revenue, Loans Closed)
  • Productivity metrics are the productive things an individual needs to do to be successful. (Example: New Opportunities, No. of Phone Calls)

The Coaching Platform displays Results and Productivity gauges at the top of the Dashboard for a quick view on how teams and individuals are performing. The Performance Report provides additional details on monthly team member performance.

Add a Performance Metric

The first step is to define the performance metrics for your company. Once defined, you can enter or upload performance metric scores for each individual.

To add a performance metric

  1. Select Performance Metrics from the Admin Menu.
  2. Select Add Performance Metric.
  3. Fill out the information on the Add Performance Metric page. (Name, Description, Type – select Results or Productivity).
  4. Select Submit.

Update a Performance Metric

  1. Select Performance Metrics from the Admin Menu.
  2. Select the edit icon next to the performance metric.
  3. Update the performance metric information.
  4. Select Submit.

Delete a Performance Metric

When you delete a performance metric, the records are simply deactivated.  Performance scores for the inactive metric will still display in reports.

To delete a Performance Metric 

  1. Select Performance Metrics from the Admin Menu.
  2. Select the delete icon next to the performance metric.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

To restore a Performance Metric

  1. Select Performance Metrics from the Admin Menu.
  2. Turn on the Show Inactive switch in upper right corner of the Performance Metric page.
  3. Select the restore icon next to the Performance Metric.
  4. Confirm the restore.

Turn off the Show Inactive switch to display the active Performance Metrics.
